NBA Math Hoops Summer Tip-Off to bring over 100 Indiana students to Grainbridge Fieldhouse on June 9

INDIANAPOLIS – The NBA Math Hoops Summer Tip-Off presented by Lilly Foundation and OneAmerica Financial Foundation will tip off at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, bringing together more than 100 students from across the region for the summer edition of the fast‑paced, education‑focused competition.

Developed by Learn Fresh, NBA Math Hoops uses real NBA and WNBA player statistics in a physical and digital board game format to build critical math skills for fourth through eighth‑grade students.

Participants will check in beginning at 11 a.m. before moving into a bracket‑style tournament modeled after NBA gameplay. Students will compete in teams of two using the NBA Math Hoops board game curriculum, with winners advancing through rounds until a champion team is crowned. Following the games, OneAmerica Financial employees will discuss their careers and how STEM plays a role in their jobs.
