Pavement markings are the painted lines, arrows, crosswalks, bike lane symbols, stop bars, and other street markings that help guide users through the roadway.
Weather permitting, pavement marking installation is scheduled for the following locations:
Tuesday, June 9
- West 6th Street from North Rogers Street to North Morton Street
- West 7th Street from North Rogers Street to B-Line
- North Madison Street from West 3rd Street to West 7th Street
Wednesday, June 10
- East 9th Street from North Morton Street to North Walnut Street
- East 10th Street from North Morton Street to North Walnut Street
Thursday, June 11 and Friday, June 12
- South Henderson Street from East Hillside Drive to East 3rd Street
Drivers, cyclists, pedestrians, and transit users are encouraged to use caution in work areas and allow extra time when traveling or parking near scheduled maintenance locations. Parking spaces may be temporarily unavailable while work is underway.
Beyond the scheduled June work, Public Works crews continue maintenance and infrastructure projects downtown, including crosswalks, accessible curb ramps, traffic signal improvements, curb changes, stormwater infrastructure, median islands, bumpouts, and other corridor updates. Additionally, as of June 2, Public Works crews have addressed 6,242 potholes citywide.
