NASHVILLE, TN – The National Football League announced today that Nashville has been selected to host Super Bowl LXIV in 2030. The historic game will be played at the new, state-of-the-art Nissan Stadium, marking the very first time the city will host the NFL’s championship event.

The official announcement was made at the NFL Spring League Meeting in Orlando, following a comprehensive proposal review by the NFL’s Fan Engagement & Major Events Committee and a subsequent vote by full ownership.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell cited Nashville’s highly successful track record with league events as a major factor in the decision, specifically pointing back to a milestone weekend seven years ago.
“The 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville was one of the greatest fan events in our history,” Goodell said. “Super Bowl LXIV at the new stadium is the next step in this remarkable football journey. The vision of Amy Adams Strunk and the Tennessee Titans helped make this moment possible.”
For Nashville, the selection represents the culmination of a long-term strategy to cement the city as a premier global entertainment hub.

“Hosting the Super Bowl is a defining moment for Nashville and Tennessee and reflects years of work to build Music City into a globally recognized destination for music, entertainment, and live events,” said Deana Ivey, President & CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. “We are ready to welcome the world.”
Nashville previously set an NFL record during the 2019 NFL Draft, which drew 600,000 fans and generated $224 million in economic impact. Officials expect the 2030 Super Bowl to bring an even larger windfall to the region.
In addition to the Sunday game, the week-long celebration in 2030 will feature:
- NFL Honors * Super Bowl Experience (presented by Jersey Mike’s)
- Super Bowl Opening Night (fueled by Gatorade)
- NFL Source — The league’s official procurement program designed to utilize local and underrepresented businesses for event operations.
Tennessee Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk expressed gratitude to the league and local partners for making the bid a reality. “This is an exciting moment for our city and our entire state,” Strunk said. “We cannot wait for our community to experience an event of this magnitude and for the world to see the energy, hospitality, and culture that make our city so special.”
