BEDFORD — Energy was high, and spirits were soaring as Lincoln Elementary School went completely “wild” for its annual Fun Run 2026.

The highly anticipated year-end event kicked off promptly at 9:00 a.m., transforming the school grounds into a vibrant hub of physical fitness and celebration.
Principal Kimberly Webb beamed with pride as 302 eager students lined up at the starting line, ready to give the race their all.

“This is a fun year-end event for us,” Principal Webb said. “It’s a great way for the kids to get outside, be active, and celebrate the end of a fantastic school year.”
The impressive performance by the students was no accident. To prepare for the big day, students dedicated the past month to training with the school’s running club.

Overseen by teacher Leifschon Walker, the club gave students a structured environment to build up their endurance and mindset ahead of the one-mile main event. The hard work clearly paid off.
“The children set goals during running club, and every child has met their goal today,” Walker said proudly. “I am super proud of all of them.”

The Lincoln Elementary Fun Run continues to be a cherished tradition for the school community. By combining physical activity with a celebratory atmosphere, the event successfully promotes:
- Health and Wellness: Encouraging lifelong fitness habits.
- Goal Setting: Teaching students the value of dedication and preparation.
- School Spirit: Bringing students, teachers, and administrators together to celebrate a successful academic year.

As the banners are packed away and the students head into the summer break, the success of the 2026 Fun Run stands as a perfect finale to another triumphant year at Lincoln Elementary.
