BLOOMINGTON — As the trend toward trade-based education continues to rise among Gen Z, Tricoci University of Beauty Culture is opening its doors to the next generation of stylists and estheticians. Starting June 9, 2026, the Bloomington campus will host its NextGen Beauty Camp, an intensive, three-day competitive experience designed for local high school students.

Running from June 9–11, the camp offers participants a unique opportunity to step behind the salon chair. Under the guidance of professional instructors, students will receive hands-on training across four core pillars of the industry: hair, skincare, makeup, and nails.

The program arrives at a time when many teenagers are bypassing traditional four-year degrees in favor of specialized career paths. Tricoci University is positioning itself as a premier destination for this shift, boasting strong institutional outcomes:
| Metric | Rate |
| Graduation Rate | 88.67% |
| Licensure Rate | 87.1% |
| Job Placement Rate | 82.9% |
The three-day event will culminate in a live student showcase, where participants can display their newly acquired skills and creative vision. The showcase serves as both a graduation of sorts for the campers and a demonstration of the fast-paced, creative nature of beauty culture.
The NextGen Beauty Camp is about more than just technique; it’s about giving students a career-focused head start in an industry that values both artistry and technical precision.

Members of the media and the community are invited to observe the training and the final showcase. Interviews with professional instructors and participating students can be arranged to provide deeper insight into the evolving landscape of beauty education in Indiana.
For those interested in visiting the campus or learning more about the program, additional details are available through the Tricoci University Bloomington admissions office.
