Pacers Sports & Entertainment launches Diaper Drive to support Indiana families

INDIANAPOLIS With Mother’s Day approaching, Pacers Sports & Entertainment (PS&E) is teaming up with the Indiana Diaper Bank to tackle a growing crisis in Hoosier households: diaper insecurity.

The third annual Diaper Drive seeks to provide essential supplies to the nearly 50% of Indiana families who struggle to afford diapers. Research shows that diaper need is a critical issue that often goes hand-in-hand with food insecurity—a primary focus area for PS&E’s community outreach.

How to Give: Two Ways to Help

The community has two primary methods to participate in the drive, including an in-person event during a high-profile matchup at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

1. In-Person: “Pack the Plaza”

  • When: Thursday, April 30, 2026 | 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Where: Bicentennial Unity Plaza
  • Event: Fans attending the Indiana Fever preseason home opener against the Dallas Wings (7 p.m. tip-off) are encouraged to bring physical donations of diapers and wipes.
  • Drop-off: The Indiana Diaper Bank will have trucks and staff stationed on the plaza to receive and store all donations.

2. Online: Monetary Donations

For those unable to attend the game, monetary donations are being accepted through Wednesday, May 6.

The need for this drive is underscored by startling statistics regarding family wellness in Indiana. While diapers are as essential as food, they are often a significant financial burden that many local families cannot meet.
