INDIANAPOLIS – The Salvation Army of Central Indiana is excited for its 26th Annual Golf 4 Kids outing, presented by Coca-Cola Consolidated, taking place on May 6, 2026, at Golf Club of Indiana. This year’s event will bring golfers together for a day of friendly competition and community impact, all in support of families served by The Salvation Army Ruth Lilly Women and Children’s Center.

Now in its 26th year, Golf 4 Kids continues its tradition of combining a great day on the course with a meaningful mission. Proceeds from this year’s outing will directly benefit the Ruth Lilly Women and Children’s Center, which provides safe shelter, resources, and long-term support for women and children escaping domestic violence and homelessness.
The Ruth Lilly Women and Children’s Center offers a safe, stable environment where families can begin to rebuild their lives. For women like Amber Williams, a former resident of the shelter, it was a place she called home for two months. After living in her car, Amber finally found safety at the shelter and a job through resources provided to her by The Salvation Army. After she got back on her feet, she eventually returned to The Ruth Lilly Women and Children’s Center, this time as an Intake Specialist, helping other women facing situations similar to hers.

“This event plays a vital role in helping us provide critical services to some of the most vulnerable families in Central Indiana,” said Major Dan Sawka, General Secretary of The Salvation Army Indiana Division. “Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, golfers, and volunteers, we can offer hope, stability, and a path forward for the women and children we serve.”
Golf Club of Indiana provides a premier setting for this year’s outing, offering a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. The club is located just northwest of Indianapolis in Boone County.
The outing will feature an 18-hole scramble, along with a lunch for participants. Golfers can also enjoy on-course contests, such as Longest Putt, Closest to the Pin, Hole-in-One, and Par 3 challenges, as well as team competitions and prizes throughout the day.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start. The event will conclude with an awards program and heavy appetizers.
