MITCHELL – The solutions center located at 1490 W Main St will host free health screenings on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. The event is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and welcomes walk-ins with no appointment needed.
The available screenings include blood glucose and cholesterol tests, with a nine-hour fast recommended before testing. Other services provided are blood pressure checks, hemoglobin a1c testing where fasting is not required, lung screenings, and sti testing. Attendees can also access nutrition services, health coaching, and learn their health numbers.
The event is supported by hope resource center, indiana university school of nursing bloomington, southern indiana community health care, and the center for community-engaged dissemination and implementation research.
