BEDFORD — Bandana’s Bar and Grill will host the annual Cops & Kids Christmas fundraiser on Sunday, Nov. 23, at 1220 5th Street in Bedford. The event supports Spring Mill FOP Lodge #172 in providing Christmas gifts for local children in need.
The fundraiser will include an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for $12, a bake sale with cookies, cakes, pies and other treats, and a live auction beginning at 2 p.m. A raffle and 50/50 drawing will also take place throughout the day.
Last year’s event raised $16,000, which covered Christmas for 80 children at $200 each. Children are selected by North Lawrence Community Schools teachers who identify students who may need additional support during the holiday season.
Bandana’s Bar and Grill is currently accepting donations of baked goods and auction items. Those interested in contributing can call 812-583-2502 or 812-797-1933.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to provide Christmas gifts for children in Lawrence County.
