Dixon’s Violin to perform live at Mitchell Opera House October 12

MITCHELL — Experience something truly extraordinary this Sunday as the Mitchell Opera House welcomes the world-renowned visionary violinist Dixon for an unforgettable live performance. The concert will take place on Sunday, October 12, with doors opening at 3:15 p.m. and the show beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Hailed by audiences across North America as “the violinist that is changing the world,” Dixon brings a performance unlike anything concertgoers have ever witnessed. Using a five-string electric violin and a custom looping system he designed himself, Dixon creates an all-live, one-man symphony that blends passion, emotion, and innovation into a breathtaking soundscape.

Having performed more than 1,000 concerts across the continent — including appearances at Burning Man, Electric Forest, and five TED Talks — Dixon has built a reputation for inspiring transformation through music. A former technology executive and symphony violinist, he left his career behind to pursue his dream full-time, reimagining what a violin performance could be.

Tickets are $29 in advance and can be purchased at Eventbrite. Tickets will be $35 at the door, if available. Children 12 and under can attend for just $10.

The show will last approximately 75 minutes and is open to all ages. Seating is indoor and reserved, so guests are encouraged to arrive early for the best experience.
