BEDFORD—The Bedford Public Library is launching its Summer Discovery series, which will kick off four days of hands-on programs and community fun on Wednesday, June 12.
On Tuesday, June 10, the Children and Teen Services team will host “Pre-K Discovery: Painting All The Time” at 10 a.m. and again at 2 p.m. This program, open to children ages 3 to 5, offers a playful and creative introduction to painting and requires registration.
Wednesday, June 11, brings two events. From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., families can head to Murray Park for the “Touch-a-Truck” experience, where kids can explore vehicles and learn about their everyday uses. Later that evening at 6 p.m., adults aged 18 and older are invited to “Food Fads: Pigs in a Blanket and Cheese Fondue,” a throwback culinary workshop that also requires registration.

The week wraps up on Thursday, June 12, with “It’s a Time Warp: Escape Room,” an adventure activity designed for children ages 9 to 12. Sessions will be held at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., and registration is required.
