Final days of Orleans Dogwood Festival Carnival promise thrills and family fun

ORLEANS — As the 2025 Orleans Dogwood Festival heads into its final weekend, the carnival continues to bring high-energy excitement and classic fun to the community through Saturday, April 26.

Hosted by Funtime Carnival and sponsored by the Orleans American Legion Post #69 and the Orleans Chamber of Commerce, the carnival has been lighting up the midway with rides, games, and concessions all week. Located in the heart of the festival grounds, it has drawn large crowds with its family-friendly atmosphere and colorful attractions.

This year introduced a new offering: guests who purchased advance non-transferable armband bracelets enjoyed unlimited access to rides on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for one low price. Though the advanced bracelet deal has ended, individual tickets and on-site armband purchases remain available while supplies last.

For $45, armbands were sold at local businesses, including Orleans Marathon, Mid-Southern Savings Bank, Huck’s, Dollar General, and Orleans Town Hall. Sales officially ended on April 21, but ticket options at the gate ensured attendees could still join in the fun.

With weather forecasts predicting a dry weekend, residents and visitors alike are encouraged to take advantage of the carnival before it wraps up. Organizers note that no refunds are issued due to rain.

The carnival is one of the most anticipated parts of the Dogwood Festival each year. It offers entertainment for all ages as part of the town’s 55th anniversary celebration of the event.
