BLOOMINGTON – A Bloomington woman was sentenced to 18 years in prison Friday after pleading guilty to child sex trafficking charges. Due to a plea agreement, Naomi Floren, 22, of Bloomington, will serve just over 15 years, with two years of supervised probation.

Floren initially faced 10 charges but pleaded guilty to the promotion of child sex trafficking, a Level 3 felony, and child molesting, a Level 4 felony. The remaining charges were dismissed. She received credit for the 167 days she has served in jail since her July arrest.
As a result of the child molesting conviction, Floren is classified as a sexually violent predator under Indiana law. Her probation conditions include registering as a sex offender, restrictions on where she can live, no contact with the victim or their family, computer searches at any time, a ban from social media sites frequented by children, and restrictions on contact with minors. She must also complete a sex offender treatment program and pay $489 in court fees.
Court documents previously revealed that Floren, while babysitting a 12-year-old girl, gave the child pills, molested her, and shared her with other men in her apartment complex for sexual acts. Police found prescription pills in her apartment and explicit photos and videos of the girl and Floren on Floren’s phone.
