Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library kicks off in Martin County

MARTIN CO. – The Loogootee Public Library announced the launch of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in Martin County.

This program is available to all children from birth to age five, regardless of their family background.

Dolly Parton initiated this program to enrich young minds.

The library will host a kick-off program on April 19th from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Loogootee Public Library, where families can sign up for the program.

Funding for the program is made possible through local sponsorships, grants, donations, and support from the Indiana State Library. Those interested in contributing can reach out to the library. Donations of any amount are appreciated, as participating costs just $13 a year per child.

The Shoals Public Library will also host a kick-off program on April 26th from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. in Shoals.
