Jackson Snelling performing at Mitchell Opera House on March 16

MITCHELL – The Mitchell Opera House will host the young, talented Hoosier singer-songwriter Jackson Snelling on Saturday, March 16th at 7:00 p.m.

Jackson Snelling is a 21-year-old accomplished singer-songwriter and pianist from Austin, Indiana. He was a contestant on NBC’s The Voice Season 24 and was on the first-ever Team Reba. Jackson was also a 2021 American Idol contestant who appeared on national television in March before the judges.

He has won many awards, most recently in Nashville, Tennessee, at The Josie Music Awards Show at The Grand Ole Opry, where he received the Male Vocalist of the Year 2023 Award.

In 2021, he also won the Josie Music Awards Entertainer of the Year Fan Choice Award. In 2020, he won the JMA’s Video of the Year for his original ‘If I Only Knew.’ Since Jackson’s American Idol audition, he has been traveling to perform in several states. He has an album out across all platforms, ‘Storyteller,’ and is working on releasing his second EP.

Mitchell Opera House is handicap accessible. Food and drinks are not permitted in the auditorium. All seating is first come, first served. Doors open at 6:15 p.m.
