Dollens Elementary students ring in the holidays with a Christmas program

OOLITIC – Dollens Elementary performed a Christmas Program on December 19, with their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders spreading Christmas joy. The program was directed by the music teacher, Tammy Spradlin.

The program started with everyone singing Jingle Bell Rock. Then the 3rd graders sang Deck the Halls and Boogie Woogie Holiday, featuring a few girls leaping. The 2nd graders sang Wacky St. Nicholas and played the boom whackers. After the 2nd graders, the 1st graders performed a piece from the Nutcracker with a swinging cloth and then sang Rudolph.

To conclude the program, everyone sang Frosty with Frosty the Snowman, performed by Principal Mr. Austin Malone, making a special appearance.

Everyone closed the holiday festivities with a blend of Jingle Bells, Up on the Housetop, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas

This was a great show to kick off Christmas break. The students at Dollens Elementary wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
