BEDFORD – At yesterday’s Board of Works and Safety meeting, Shane S. Nolan was appointed by Fire Chief Luke Pinnick to take the vacant position of Fire Inspector. The Board approved the appointment.
At the same meeting, Police Chief Terry Moore presented the return of Sergeant Toby Gerkin from Administrative Leave.
Gerkin was on leave in October of this year following a shooting investigation, but since he was not involved, Sergeant Gerkin returned to work on October 31 after clearing medical qualifications. The Board approved the return.
