DAVIESS CO. – The second annual Giving Tuesday in Daviess County begins at midnight and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28th.
Giving Tuesday is a globally celebrated day dedicated to giving generously on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
During last year’s Giving Tuesday, 62 donors gave donations totaling more than $14,623 to 21 different Daviess County charitable organizations and 12 different funds benefiting Daviess County held by the Our Community Foundation.
To help charities take part in Giving Tuesday, Our Community Foundation is again providing the structure through its website to manage online donations, all at no cost to the participating organizations.
Donations will go to the nonprofit of the donors’ choice.
Donors can visit Our Community Foundation’s website on Giving Tuesday and make donations to any or all the nonprofits that have chosen to join in this event.
In addition to the participating organizations, donors may make donations to any of the charitable funds held by Our Community Foundation as a GivingTuesday Daviess County gift.
