A new teen center is being built in Washington

WASHINGTON – A groundbreaking event will be held today for The PowerHouse a new teen center in Washington. The public is invited to attend.

The new center will be built on the grounds of the current teen center location at 709 East Main and will be a new 15-thousand-square-foot facility. City and county officials will be at the groundbreaking.

Director Tracy Cook says anyone who has been a part of the mission or any member of the community is invited today to attend the celebration at 4 at Powerhouse on East Main Street. Freshments will be served.

The PowerHouse exists to Build relationships with Junior High and High School youth in order to share the Gospel.
