Stuff A Bus for L.I.F.E. Food Pantry is next Saturday

LAWRENCE CO. – On Saturday, Nov. 18, the annual “Stuff A Bus” event will be held at Jay-C Plus Store located on West 16th Street from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Each year the radio stations 1340 AM WBIW, 105.5 FM WQRK, and 102.5 Litefm WPHZ host this event regardless of the cold temperatures or inclement weather conditions. This year’s food drive is presented to you by Rogers Group Inc.

Now is your chance to make a difference in your community and help make sure no one goes hungry this holiday season.

Sponsors of the event, including the title sponsor Rogers Group Inc. and other supporting sponsors like Pritchett Bros Inc., TRISTAR, Golden Corral Buffet & Grill, Thomas Insurance Services, Inc., Smoot Eye Care, LLC, Hoosier Hills Credit Union, Lawrence County Equipment, Mitchell Manor, Indiana Health Centers, Sipes Body and Glass, Inc, Mays Greenhouse, Family Drug Health Mart Pharmacy, Bobcat of Daviess County, and E Z Leasing LLC have jump-started the restocking process and have helped to bring awareness to this need in our community.

In 2022, the Stuff A Bus event, presented by Rogers Group, yielded more than 6,000 food items donated by community members to L.I.F.E Food Pantry.

The event’s goal is to re-stock the shelves of L.I.F.E. Food Pantry before the holidays. It takes over twelve thousand items per month to meet the needs of those living in Lawrence County.

Community support can make a difference in the lives of friends and neighbors who live in Lawrence County, and with the holidays coming up, it’s a good time to give those in our community who need a little help and a reason to be grateful this Thanksgiving.
