L.I.F.E.’s 30th Annual Christmas Fantasia

BEDFORD – Lawrence InterFaith Endeavor’s annual Christmas auction of decorated Christmas trees, centerpieces, wreaths, trimmings, and much more is coming up.

It will be held on Saturday, December 2, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds Exposition Hall.

This will be the 30th annual Fantasia event for L.I.F.E. which brings in $25,000 to $30,000 each year that goes directly toward the operation of their food pantry, rent or mortgage assistance, and utility assistance.

You can help raise much-needed funds by donating a decorated tree or other items. Applications to donate an item can be found online at www.lifeindiana.org.

L.I.F.E Pantry

LIFE is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization that started in 1987.  It is a cooperative ministry supported by more than 40 churches throughout Lawrence County.  LIFE provides emergency food assistance every 30 days and emergency rent or mortgage/utility assistance. In addition, L.I.F.E. sponsors “Life Blessings” for which each student is given a bag of nutritional food on Fridays to take home to help with food insecurity.

The pantry delivers more than 12,000 items each month to families in need.
