PAOLI – Firefighters from numerous fire departments battled a house fire on Sandy Hook Road, north of Paoli.
Firefighters responded to the blaze around 5:32 a.m. this morning. Battling the blaze were firefighters from Paoli, Orange County Rural District I and II, Southeast Township, and Lavonia Volunteer Fire Departments.
The home was engulfed in flames.
The flames and heat were intense. Firefighters are still on the scene battling the blaze.
Ashes were visible for miles from the blaze. Thankfully no secondary fires started.
Also responding to the blaze were REMC, Orange County EMS, officers with the Paoli Police Department, and deputies with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
