Little Theater of Bedford receives $3,000 surprise grant

BEDFORDThe Lawrence County Community Foundation awarded the Little Theatre of Bedford the third surprise grant of the ten they are awarding in honor of their 30th Anniversary.

The foundation popped into the Theater’s rehearsal for “A Gift to Remember” last week to present the grant.

With three grants presented, the LCCF still has seven $3,000 grants to award in the coming days. In total, the grants amount to $30,000 representative of the 30 years of service the LCCF has provided for the Lawrence County Community.

The Little Theater of Bedford is a community theatre dedicated to the people of Lawrence County and surrounding areas. It has been part of the community for more than 60 years and continues to bring performances of plays and musicals close to home for Bedford-dwellers.

The actors and staff are all volunteers, and the money made from tickets goes back into the theater.

The Little Theater provides a local stop for anyone wanting to be part of or watch live theater.
