DAVIESS CO. – Entries are currently being accepted for the 2023 Daviess County Christmas Parade.
This year’s theme is “A Story Book Christmas.”
The parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 2 at 6:00 p.m. Lineup will begin at 5:00 p.m. on North East 7th and Bedford Road in Washington.
Cash prizes and trophies are up for grabs:
- Best Overall – $200 and a trophy
- Best Business/Commercial – $150 and a trophy
- Best Non-Profit -$100 and a trophy
Floats will be judged during the lineup.
The best-light window display of a Main Street business will claim a $100 cash prize and the traveling trophy
The parade committee kindly requests that Santa Claus remain absent from all parade entries because Santa will make a grand entrance at the end of the parade lineup.
