Businesses: Sign up TODAY for Trick-or-Treat on Main Street in Mitchell

MITCHELL – Today is the last day for Mitchell businesses to sign up for Trick-or-Treat on Main Street on October 31, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Facilitating a safe trick-or-treating experience in a condensed area, Mitchell’s Trick-or-Treat on Main Street is in it’s 17th year, and provides downtown traffic for businesses and a safe, fun space for kids and families to trick-or-treat.

Parents can come, park, and know that their kids are safe and nearby, kids get to feel safe and carefree as they enjoy the holiday, and businesses get increased traffic. It’s a win for everyone, and the candy’s not the only reason.

Vicky Schlegel reported that she made 330 treat bags for last year’s Trick-or-Treat, and they went through them all in the first two hours. It’s a very busy event, and all are welcome to attend.

There’s more than the treats, too. Trick-or-treaters will have access to a cute Halloween photo-stop complete with pumpkins and haybales so that amid the flurry, you have a nice place to snap a picture of your memories.

Be a part of the fun:

Businesses can get involved by contacting Vicky Schlegel at 812-849-4555 or 812-797 7984 by the end of business hours TODAY, October 25, if they want to participate in the event.
