Judge orders prison sentence for Bedford woman who failed to comply with probation terms

BEDFORD – On October 12, 2023, A Bedford woman was sentenced to the Indiana Department of
Correction by Lawrence Superior Court II Judge Robert Cline after failing to comply with the terms of her
probation.

Teegan Ray-Burton, 20, Bedford, pleaded guilty to Possession of Methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony, on
October 3, 2022, as a part of a negotiated plea agreement with the State of Indiana. She was originally
sentenced to 730 days, with time served, and the remainder of her sentence suspended. She was
ordered to serve 365 days on supervised probation in exchange for her guilty plea.

However, after failing to comply with the terms and conditions of her probation, on October 12, 2023,
Cline sentenced Ray-Burton to 710 days in the Indiana Department of Correction.
