ORLEANS – Mark your calendars – October 13-14 is the annual Orleans Fall Fun Fest in the Park.
It will be a fun-filled day of fall family-type activities in the historic town square. Plans include a 5K run, children’s activities, a corn hole tourney, a car show, live entertainment, food and so much more.
The festival will kick off on Friday, October 13 with a traditional Front Porch Concert at the historic home of Larry Padgett on West Washington Street and Ice Cream Social at Hometown Scoops.
Chamber officials are asking business owners and residents to help dress up the town to usher in autumn by decorating their storefronts, porches, and lawns with mums, scarecrows, pumpkins, etc. in preparation for the Annual Fall Fun Fest.
The Chamber of Commerce invites local groups, civic organizations, and church groups to set up booths in the park that day or to sponsor an event or activity. If interested contact the Chamber office at 812-653-1212 as soon as possible.
