Larry W. Thompson, 59 of Bedford passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023, in Bloomington.
He was born in Indianapolis on November 30, 1963, to Chastain “Chet” Thompson and Eleanor (Wildrick) Thompson. Larry married Rhonda Tyring on July 5, 1986, in Francisco, Indiana and she survives. Larry was the Director of Operations with Buehler Foods, he enjoyed watching football, he loved the Colts and IU, he was an avid boater, loved fishing and camping at Lake Monroe Village.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Thompson of Bedford, two sons, Larry (Nicole) Thompson, Jr. of Washington, and Ronnie (Alexis) Thompson of Bedford, his mother, Eleanor Thompson of Washington, two grandchildren, Tory Thompson, and Noah Thompson, two great-grandchildren, Layla Thompson, and Tory Thompson, Jr., one sister, Sherry Napier of Indianapolis, and one brother, Robert Thompson of Muncie.
He was preceded in death by his father, and one sister, Karen Brown.
A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Lake Monroe Village, 8107 S. Fairfax Road, Bloomington, Indiana 47401.
