GREENE CO. – The Greene County Sheriff’s Department needs your help finding a wanted person.
Police are searching for Philbert Wright. He is wanted for escape and robbery.
Court documents show Philbert Levi Wright just before 6:30 a.m. Monday left the Greene Community Corrections Program’s Residential Work Release Facility via the fire exit in the men’s dorm while wearing a GPS bracelet. The tracking device was later found just north of the facility in a grassy area.
Wright is described as 5’7″ and weighing 160 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes.
If you see Wright, you should not approach him and call 911. He is considered armed and dangerous.
