Man arrested after placing intimate photos in restaurant’s restroom

BEDFORD – A Bedford man was arrested after Bedford Police Department investigators said he distributed intimate images.

According to a probable cause affidavit on April 14, 2023, at 2:36 p.m. a woman reported that 58-year-old David Dodd was harassing her and showing up wherever she was located. She believed he had placed a tracking device on her vehicle.

She showed a photo of Dodds riding his motorcycle past the motel room where she was staying.

He was also posting terrible things about her on Facebook and had left intimate photos of her at her place of employment in the restrooms with her name and phone number on the photos. Witnesses saw Dodds leave the photos in the restroom.

Police spoke to Dodds and he admitted to possessing the photos but denied leaving them in the restroom or posting the photos online.

Police secured a warrant for his phone and during a forensic examination, the photos left in the restroom were found on Dodds’ phone. They also found text messages where Dodds allegedly admitted to placing the photos “around town”.

Dodds was arrested on charges of distribution of intimate images, and invasion of privacy, and he was also wanted on a warrant for failure to appear.
