BEDFORD – Yesterday’s public hearing for the Mitchell Community Schools’ 2024 Budget presented the amount of $22,117,000.
The largest change since the 2023 budget was a hike in the service fund. Otherwise, the school is asking for the maximum amount. The budget plan includes the purchase of one new school bus in the coming year, and $1,000,000 going into the Rainy Day fund.
With no one questioning or contesting the budget, the hearing for adoption is set for September 4.
