Leonard Springs Nature Days volunteers needed

BLOOMINGTON – At Leonard Springs Nature Days, our motto is “Leave no Child Inside.” Bloomington Parks and Recreation use this unique, experiential nature education program to introduce every sixth-grade student in the Monroe County Community School Corporation to Leonard Springs Nature Park.

Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., students and their teachers and parents travel between stations to learn more about the natural world and how we’re all connected to it!

Hundreds of students participate in the Leonard Springs Nature Days program each academic year. It takes the efforts of lots of people, including volunteers like you, to make Leonard Springs Nature Days a significant part of every student’s educational experience.
