Man arrested after officers find meth in his pockets

BEDFORD – A Bedford man was arrested Friday on drug charges after Bedford Police officers were requested to the First Care Clinic on 16th Street after a report of a male causing a disturbance.

When police arrived at 11:01 a.m. they found 41-year-old James Wildrick sitting on the curb on the east side of the BP gas station. Police ran Wildrick’s information and learned he was wanted on a warrant in Steuben County.

He was detained and transported to the Lawrence County Jail.

While at the Jail, officers located a glass smoking device and a plastic baggie of crystal meth in Wildrick’s pants pockets.

Wildrick was then charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
