Senator Todd Young presents at Federal Focus 2023 

BLOOMINGTON – On Wednesday, August 9th, the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce and Indiana University will present Federal Focus with Senator Todd Young.

Young will update the audience on federal issues that impact the Bloomington and Monroe County area. He’ll also join the Chamber members for a wide-ranging conversation covering topics that are crucial to the local business community. He will open by speaking on his priorities, the economy, inflation, foreign policy, and the climate in Washington. The Q&A will have questions related to the CHIPS Act, the regional economy, Crane Naval Base, housing affordability, and entrepreneurship. Time for networking, as well as appetizers and drinks, will be provided.  

Serving as a Senator for Indiana since 2017, Young currently serves on the Senate Committees on Finance; Foreign Relations; Commerce, Science & Transportation; and Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Previously, in the House, he served on the House Armed Services Committee, the House Budget Committee, and most recently the House Ways and Means Committee. 

What: Federal Focus is part of The Chamber’s objective to open dialogue and interaction with our governmental leaders. Federal Focus is routinely a lunch event, attendees have the opportunity to invite clients and colleagues to join them on the occasion.
