Indiana State Festival Association Queen to ride in Dogwood Parade on Saturday

ORLEANS – The Indiana State Festival Association (ISFA) Queen Claire Bishop will be visiting “Indiana’s Dogwood Capital,” this Saturday, April 29th as part of the 2023 Dogwood Festival Parade.

Claire Bishop

Bishop was named the 2023 Miss Indiana State Festival Association (ISFA) Queen this past November.  She represents the Riley Festival.

Bishop, a senior at Greenfield Central High School, is currently serving as the 2023 Miss Indiana State Festivals Association Queen. So far in her reign, she has traveled nearly 1,000 miles across the state attending various fairs and festivals. Claire will graduate this summer and intends on pursuing her education at Purdue University in the fall by studying Brain and Behavioral Sciences. In her free time, Claire enjoys singing, sewing, participating in 4-H, working with her livestock, or volunteering in her community.

“The Dogwood Festival has been a longtime and active member of the ISFA participating in its many activities and we are indeed honored to be able to host this year’s reigning festival queen,” said Orleans Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Robert Henderson.

The Parade is set for 2 p.m. to start time on Saturday.  Everyone is encouraged to come out and be a part of the festivities.
