BEDFORD – Lawrence County Sheriff Greg Day is working to update security measures at Courthouse Plaza.
“I received bids on some security upgrades at courthouse plaza, but there must have been some miss communications,” said Sheriff Day. “So we are working on getting some new bids.”
Sheriff Day reported there were 93 inmates in jail this morning, of those 75 are males, 18 females, three Department of Correction holds, four parole holds, and nine Level 6 felons.
“We shipped out nine Department of Correction holds this morning,” he added.
