BNL’s Norman named to Top 60 seniors

BNL‘ s Karsyn Norman has been selected to participate in the Top 60 Workout on Sunday.

BEDFORD – Bedford North Lawrence’s Karsyn Norman has been named to the Top 60 Seniors by Hoosier Basketball Magazine.

Norman, a Butler recruit, averaged 15.5 points and 4.2 assists while leading the Stars (27-3) to the IHSAA Class 4A state championship. She will participate in the annual Top 60 Workout on Sunday at Beech Grove.

The workout, held in conjunction with the IHSAA and the IBCA, will be divided into two sessions (1-3 p.m. for athletes from northern and southern Indiana, 3:30-5:30 p.m. for girls in central Indiana). North Central coach DeeAnn Ramey will conduct both sessions.

Other area players of note invited to the Top 60 included Saige Stahl of Columbus East, Ava Weber of Corydon (unable to attend), Linzie Wernert of Lanesville and Lauren Barker of Columbus North. Top names from across the state include Zionsville’s Laila Hull, South Bend Washington’s Rashunda Jones and Amiyah Reynolds (injured), and East Central’s Josie Trabel (injured).

The Top 60 is the final part of the selection process for the Indiana All-Star team.
