BNL’s Norman, Spreen and Pride named to All-HHC team

BNL’s Karsyn Norman was named All-HHC by the league coaches.

BEDFORD – Bedford North Lawrence standouts Karsyn Norman, Chloe Spreen and Mallory Pride were named to the All-Hoosier Hills Conference team by the league coaches.

Norman, a Butler recruit, averaged 15.5 points and 4.2 assists as the Stars (27-3, 6-0 in the HHC), won the league crown. Spreen averaged a team-high 19.0 points (plus 5.3 rebounds), and Pride contributed 10.8 points and a team-high 6.8 rebounds. The Stars also won the IHSAA Class 4A state championship.

The rest of the First Team included Columbus East’s Saige Stahl, Jennings County’s Juliann Woodard and Mollie Ernstes, Seymour’s Kendall Sterling, Jeffersonville’s Brooklyn Carter, Floyd Central’s Elise Coleman and New Albany’s Journey Howard.

Jeff Allen was named Coach of the Year as the Stars won their 22nd conference title in program history.

BNL’s Madisyn Bailey was named Honorable Mention. Bailey averaged 7.6 points and 4.2 rebounds.

BNL’s Chloe Spreen led the Stars in scoring while earning All-HHC honors.
BNL’s Mallory Pride was the team leader in rebounding for the HHC (and state) champions.
