Lawrence InterFaith Endeavor 29th Annual Fantasia Christmas Auction is Saturday

BEDFORD – The Lawrence InterFaith Endeavor 29th Annual Fantasia Christmas Auction is Saturday.

L.I.F.E. Christmas Fantasia brings in over $25,000 from event | WBIW

This auction of decorated Christmas trees, centerpieces, wreaths, gift baskets, and handmade trimmings takes place on Saturday, December 3rd. Doors open at 9 a.m. The auction will begin at 11 a.m. at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds Expo Hall located at 11265 US 50, in Bedford.

“This is the only fundraiser we do during the year, so it is important,” said Donnie Hall with Lawrence InterFaith Endeavor “This event helps to fund our endeavors so that we can get the funding we need to keep doing our best.”

This will be the 28th annual Fantasia event for L.I.F.E. which brings in $25,000 to $30,000 each year that goes directly toward the operation of their food pantry, rent or mortgage assistance, and utility assistance.

You can help by raising much-needed funds by donating a decorated tree or other items. Applications to donate an item can be found online at www.lifeindiana.org.

LIFE is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization that was started in 1987.  It is a cooperative ministry supported by more than 40 churches throughout Lawrence County.  LIFE provides emergency food assistance every 30 days and emergency rent or mortgage/utility assistance. In addition, L.I.F.E. sponsors “Life Blessings” in which each student is given a bag of nutritional food on Fridays to take home to help with food insecurity. The pantry delivers more than 12,000 items each month to families in need.

For those who were unable to make it out to this year’s event and still want to help with LIFE please drop items off at the Food Pantry or make a donation at 1204 I Street in Bedford.
