  • 5:28 a.m. An information report was taken in the 200 b.lock of Greer Lane. A woman reported someone she can not see is still touching her and they may have injected something in her hip and or hit her with something
  • 6:15 a.m. Request for a welfare check in the 100 block of 11th Street. The caller reported the neighbor’s car alarm is sounding and is unsure if someone is attempting to break into the vehicle. Police then received a 911 call reporting someone trying to break into a vehicle

  • 7:11 a.m. An information report was taken in the 200 block of Greer Lane. A woman reported someone was touching her and she smells something
  • 9:40 a.m. Request for animal control in the 800 block of John Kern Lane for cattle in her yard
  • 9:41 a.m. 911 call in the 2000 block of State Road 37. It was an accidental call
  • 10:05 a.m. Domestic fight in the 7000 block of State Road 157. A mother and two daughters were fighting and arguing at IU Health Hospital and it has continued to argue when they arrived home. Caller states concern about safety due to children in the home. Police and the Department of Child Services responded

  • 2:52 p.m. Citizen assist in the 60 block of North Helton Road. North Lawrence Water reported there was a boring machine in the area and they are investigating why people have no water. The water company did not shut off the water. A water company employee is requesting to speak to an officer about the issue
  • 3:00 p.m. A person was at the Mitchell Police Department with a dog that was running loose on Dale Street. The dog has been neglected for months and is in poor condition
  • 3:12 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a blue Chevrolet traveling north on State Road 37 and Trogdon Lane
  • 3:12 p.m. Request for animal control in the 100 block of Stonegate Court. Someone dumped a litter of puppies and the caller rescued them a couple of weeks ago on Leatherwood Road. The caller says 8 litters of puppies have been dumped this year 
  • 3:24 p.m. Request for animal control at Mason Street and Liberty Bell Street
  • 3:43 p.m. A woman was at the Mitchell Police Department to report an unwanted person at her home in the 6000 block of State Road 37
  • 3:45 p.m. An information report was taken on US 50 West and Woodsferry Road regarding people hanging out of car windows and now pulled into a driveway, west of the fairgrounds
  • 3:52 p.m. 911 call in the 3000 block of Avoca Eureka Road. It was an accidental call
  • 3:58 p.m. Request for animal control in the 80 block of Gun Club Road for dogs whining. The dogs were okay
  • 4:09 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a blue Chevrolet Avalanche at State Road 37 and Old State Road 37

  • 5:46 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 500 block of Sunny Acres Drive for an elderly woman sitting in the front yard and she has been there for several hours
  • 5:50 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a tan or silver Honda SUV traveling east at Twin Ponds and Stumphole Bridge Road
  • 6:21 p.m. A person was on the station to report a missing person. The woman’s phone pinged in Bloomington
  • 6:48 p.m. 911 call in the 4000 block of State Road 60 West. A child was playing with the phone
  • 6:52 p.m. Citizen dispute in the 1000 block of North 8th Street
  • 7:08 p.m. Domestic fight in the 1000 block of Palestine Road. A man reported his ex-wife and ex-father-in-law were at his residence. His ex-father-in-law tried to hit him with a car door and his ex-wife attempted to run him over. Indiana State Police responded
  • 7:15 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 500 block of Spencer Pike Road. The female’s phone pinged in Orange County. EMS was alerted to check the woman out for a medication overdose
  • 7:40 p.m. Citizen dispute reported at Persimmon Park Apartments
  • 8:07 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a child in the 80 block of Grissom Road
  • 8:35 p.m. A person was on station to report the theft of a vehicle last seen at Oolitic Manor
  • 9:02 p.m. An information report was taken in the 200 block of Greer Lane. A woman reported someone she can not see is touching her and cutting the circulation off to her arm
  • 10:10 p.m. 911 call in the 300 block of Randy Smith Drive. It was an accidental call
  • 10:32 p.m. An information report was taken in the 200 block of Greer Lane. The caller reported someone she could not see was in her bed,  hit her then got up and turned on the television
  • 11:47 p.m. Warrant service in the 900 block of West Main Street in Mitchell. A male was detained
