ORLEANS – Orleans Chamber of Commerce officials have received official confirmation from the North Pole that Santa Claus will be arriving in Orleans on Saturday, December 10 for the Annual Christmas on the Square event.
The jolly old elf is expected to arrive in downtown Orleans around 5 p.m. riding in the historic 1926 Peter Pirsch firetruck, barring any unforeseen weather. Members of the Orleans Municipal Fire and Police Department will also be on hand to assist with Santa’s annual visit.
Families will have the chance to meet and visit Santa Claus on the picturesque decorated 1926 bandstand and Ride the Christmas Express Train.
The event will also include the annual “Santa Hat Run,” Horse and Carriage Rides, a Live Nativity, plenty of Entertainment, Food, and more.
