Joint program help vets and their familes combat homelessness

INDIANA – A collaborative program between the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Veterans Affairs combines HUD housing vouchers with VA supportive services to help veterans experiencing homelessness, and their families, find and sustain permanent housing.

As of December 20, 2020, HUD had allocated more than 105,000 vouchers to help house veterans across the country.

IHCDA is very supportive of a number of programs that are administered by the VA with assistance through the IDVA.  Please visit their website to learn more about assistance for our American Heroes in finding long-term housing solutions: Housing Assistance For Veterans.
