Purdue Extension Invites you to Lunch ‘n Learn what Extension Does on November 9th

BEDFORD – Purdue Extension-Lawrence County will be hosting a Lunch-n-Learn on Wednesday, November 9, from Noon until 1:15 p.m. at the StoneGate Arts and Education Center at 931 15th Street, in Bedford.

There is no charge for this event.

Dr. Michael Wilcox

For this year’s event, Dr. Michael Wilcox, Purdue Extension’s Assistant Director and Program Leader for Community Development and a Community and Regional Economics Specialist, will be the guest speaker. Dr. Wilcox will discuss the connection between community wellness and community development and share some ways Purdue Extension is able to help.

Attendees will also hear from an Extension Community Partner about the impact made through innovative opportunities this year. Purdue Extension-Lawrence County Staff from all program areas including 4-H and Youth Development, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Health and Human Sciences, Nutrition Education, and Community Wellness will be available for discussion and will also have a report on the year in review.

The public is encouraged to come and learn more about what Extension Does in the community and how Purdue Extension can partner with other groups to make even more impact in Lawrence County.
