Athletes from Washington and Orange Counties were special guests at a private lake located in northern Washington County this past Saturday to enjoy the day and fish together.

The athletes enjoyed fishing, singing karaoke, shooting basketballs, playing corn toss, exploring professional tournament boats, getting their pictures taken with “Nitro” a 10-pound replica bass, riding on U.T.V.’s, riding on a pontoon boat, and watching an airboat demonstration, as well as a cookout.

The Fishing Derby went off without a hitch, thanks to the support of the many volunteers and sponsors who helped with the success of the event, and making this a day to remember for all involved.

Additional photos from the event can be seen on the Washington County Indiana Sheriffs Department Facebook page.
