As a state employee, you may be eligible for public service loan forgiveness

INDIANA – If you are employed by a U.S. federal, state, local, or tribal government or not-for-profit organization, you might be eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.

The PSLF Program forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan while working full-time for a qualifying employer.

Please take a moment to review the details of the Limited PSLF Waiver, as this opportunity ends on Oct. 31, 2022.

Until Oct. 31, 2022, borrowers may receive credit for payments that previously did not qualify for PSLF or TEPSLF.
