Indiana House Republicans want to reduce jail overcrowding

STATEHOUSE – In this session, Indiana House Republicans want to reduce jail overcrowding and free up important resources for public safety.

State Reps. Randy Frye (R-Greensburg) and Chris Jeter (R-Fishers) say providing judicial flexibility so all felony offenders can be sent to the Indiana Department of Correction will help locals better direct resources to where they matter most.
