BLOOMINGTON – For more than two decades the Chamber’s Success School has championed excellence in education with the annual awards ceremony, which recognizes the best teachers and programs in accredited schools across Monroe County. T
his year eight educators, one educational program, and one-lifetime achievement recipient will be honored in a community celebration at the 21st Annual Educator of the Year Awards ceremony on Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Ivy Tech Community College – Bloomington’s Shreve Hall.
Outstanding Educator Awards
- Danielle Butler, Kindergarten Teacher at Edgewood Primary School
- Angela Cannon, English Teacher at Bloomington High School North
- Amber Harrison, Pre-School Lead at Edgewood Early Childhood Center
- Choonhyun Jeon, English Language Learners Teacher, Cultural Competency & Diversity Coordinator, and Family Welcome Center Coordinator at MCCSC
- Caitlin Leichter, STEAM Coach at Edgewood Intermediate School
- Michelle Qualley, Special Education and Math Teacher at Jackson Creek Middle School
