BNL ranked No.2 in new IBCA poll

BNL (15-1) is ranked No.2 in the latest IBCA state poll.

BEDFORD – Bedford North Lawrence climbed to No.2 in the latest Indiana Basketball Coaches Association state poll.

Homestead (12-1) is ranked No.1 in the latest ranking, which does not divide by classes. BNL (15-1 and undefeated against Indiana competition) is followed by former No.1 Crown Point (15-2), Franklin (17-1), South Bend Washington (15-2), Noblesville (14-3), Westfield (13-3), Fishers (12-3), North Central (13-4) and Silver Creek (15-1) in the new top 10.

Homestead’s only loss came against Noblesville (69-48) on Nov. 20. Homestead edged BNL by three poll points among the 20 voters on the panel.

The ICGSA poll (which ranks according to class) will be announced on Monday.

The Stars, who already own three wins over teams ranked in the new top 10, will visit Castle on Saturday afternoon.
