“We are going this to invite more people from different backgrounds in for SPIN because we have found the best thing about SPIN is the fellowship,” said Heather Beasley, an organizer of this event. “It is amazing how staff, volunteers, and guests are bonding and forming friendships.”

The breakfast is Fridays from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. it is being termed “A Big Bedford Breakfast” which will include biscuits, gravy, sausage, and eggs.

Transportation is available by calling 812-275-5991 or 812-797-2057.

“This program is designed not only for the homeless but other people who are struggling, who may not have utilities, or the capacity to shower or do laundry,” said Beasley founder of the program.

Guests are provided a hygiene bag with soap, a wash cloth, shampoo, toothbrush, and toothpaste. Laundry can be left overnight and will be placed in a numbered bag. The clothes will be laundered and ready for pick-up.

Breakfast will be served and a bag lunch which includes non-perishable food, and frozen water bottles will be offered.

First Baptist Church is the location where people can receive these services, but partners from other churches, area businesses, and volunteers have worked together to provide this service.
