Elliott Lofton retires from Rockville Correctional Facility

ROCKVILLE – Rockville Correctional Facility (RCF) Warden Julie Stout congratulates Correctional Officer Elliott Lofton on his retirement after 16-years of dedicated service with the Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC).

Public service was nothing new to Elliott when he began his career at RCF in January of 2005 following his retirement from the United States Marine Corp. Building on his military experience Elliott acquiesced to his new environment quickly learning the day-to-day tasks. He became trained in nearly every facility post ranging from directly supervising offenders in a housing unit to providing armed escort of offenders out of the facility when required. Elliott proved himself to be capable, dependable, and knowledgeable while helping in the development of many coworkers over the years.

Elliott, an avid fisherman, now plans to turn his attentions towards his family and hobbies.

The Indiana Department of Correction and staff at Rockville Correctional Facility extend their wishes to Elliott for continued happiness and give thanks for their time working with him. He will be sorely missed.
